George 'Don' Lambert
87, 3001 Westhill Dr., Wausau, died Saturday January 11, 2003 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital.
He was born May 11, 1915 in Tomahawk, son of the late George and Nellie (Reynolds) Lambert. He married Alice Belliveau. She survives.
Prior to his retirement, George had been employed as an electrical supervisor for Wisconsin Public Service Corporation.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army.
Survivors include his wife, Alice (Belliveau) Lambert, Wausau, two sons, Richard (Sandy) Lambert, Chetek; Jeffrey (Cheryl) Lambert, Brookfield; one daughter, Nancy (Ron) Rutta, Rothschild; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a sister, Georgia Hosking, Atlanta, Georgia.
The memorial mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday January 18, 2003 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild. Rev. Allan Slowiak will preside. Burail will be in Calvary Cemetery, Tomahawk. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild.
