George F. Krall

George F. Krall 86, 1509 E. Wausau Ave, Wausau died Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston. He was born September 9, 1921 in the town of Harrison, son of the late Frank and Francis (Kremer) Krall. On September 7, 1946 he married Dolores Heinzen in Phlox. She preceded him in death on April 8, 2008. For more than 32 years George was a construction superintendant for Wergin Construction Co. in Wausau. During this time he was proud to help build many of the local churches, schools and businesses around the central Wisconsin area. Some of his favorite pastimes included fishing, hunting, wood working, crafting and spending time at his cottage on Lower Clear Lake in Langlade County. George proudly served his country in the United States Army. Survivors include his two sons, Jerry (Pamela) Krall, DePere and Gary (Kay) Krall, Schofield, one granddaughter, Debra (Karl) Perpich, DePere and one great granddaughter, Isabella Perpich, his siblings, Martin (Mary Ann) Krall, Wausau, Frank (Marge) Krall, Deerbrook, Ken (Joan) Krall, Deerfield, Dorothy (Jerry) Chalupnicek, Lombard, Illinois, Victoria Lenzner, Wausau and Agnes Rindfleisch, Wausau. Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by two sisters, Marion Graham and Verna Melius. The funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 11, 2008 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. The Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau where full military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Montgomery Plant Post #10. Friends may call on Sunday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
