George W. Bauer

GEORGE W. BAUER 68, C2497 Holstein Road, Edgar died Thursday August 2, 2001 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. George was born January 16, 1933 in Aurora, IL son of the late George Sr. and Beatrice (Kepler) Bauer. He married Barbara Brown September 10, 1955 in Aurora, IL. She survives. George was employed as plant manager of Badger Basket Company in Edgar for 16 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Besides his wife, Barbara Bauer, Edgar, he is survived by his children, Rob (Cheryl) Bauer, Edgar, Pam (Brian) Wanta, Edgar, Tim (Katy) Bauer, Marinette, Kristi (Mike) Boisen, Edgar, Tom (Kim) Bauer, Edgar, Laura (Terry) Reeves, Green Bay, Michael (Sandy Anderson) Bauer, Edgar and 13 grandchildren. Besides his parents, George was preceded in death by 1 son, Greg, 1 sister and 1 brother. Private funeral services will be held Monday August 6, 2001 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar. Burial will be in St. Stephen Lutheran Cemetery Edgar. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in George's name is being established.
