Genevieve Albrent

Genevieve "Jenny" Albrent 83, 6001 Alderson Street, Weston, died Friday April 21, 2006 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston. She was born July 31, 1922 in Wausau, daughter of the late Jacob and Marie (Guisiano) Martino. Jenny was a homemaker and truely enjoyed spending time with her children. Through the years, she was a Boy Scout leader, was a foster mother and provided home care. Among her many interests, she enjoyed card playing and growing roses. Survivors include her children, Richard (Susan) Albrent, Calif., Barbara (Carl) Grassl, Fond du Lac, George (Barbara) Albrent, West Bend, Gerald Albrent, Colo., Charles (Pam) Albrent, Eau Claire, Edward (Laura) Albrent, Little Chute, Therese (Donald) Gerber, Rochester, Minn., Robert Albrent Jr., Wausau, numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, her siblings, Dorothy Martino, Schofield, John (Beverly) Martino, Rothschild, a sister-in-law, Elsie Martino, Wausau and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Albrent Sr., a grandson, Brian Gerber, three sisters and one brother. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Noon, Thursday April 27, 2006 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. Rev. Janusz Kowalski will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from 10:00 a, m, until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
