Gene G. Jacob, 76, Mosinee passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at his home, while under the care of Aspirus at Home Hospice.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. The Rev. Msgr. Joseph Diermeier will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon and again on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
