Gayle Nancy Emmes

Gayle Nancy Emmes, 78, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2024 under the care of Compassus Hospice at Rennes Health and Rehab Center, Weston.

She was born September 20, 1945.

Gayle cherished all her loved ones.   She will be deeply missed.

Survived by her two daughters, Connie Gleason and Dawn Steiner; brothers, Jimmy, Tom and John Fust; sister, Joyce Miller, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her adored puppy, Maggie.

Gayle was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend that enjoyed life.  She was a Harley Davidson enthusiast that took pride in her Harley and enjoyed riding.  Gayle loved to gamble and cheer on the Green Bay Packers.  She delighted in going all out and decorating for the holidays showing how much she truly valued celebrating with all those she loved.

Gayle is now at peace.  She has been reunited with those who preceded her in death, her beloved husband, Bobby Emmes; parents, Arnold and Irene Fust, sister, Sandy Royce, father of her daughters, James Gleason and treasured dog, Gabby.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau.
