Gary Mientke

Gary Mientke, 64, Wausau died Thursday, August 21, 2014. He was born July 8, 1950 in Wausau to Helen (Landowski) Mientke and the late Ben Mientke. Gary worked for Drott, Bob Johnson Chevrolet, Greenheck and most recently at Westside Battery. He was known by many as Mr. Fix It and was always there to help out anyone in a time of need. Gary enjoyed working on his classic cars, fixing clocks and watches and attending the steam engine show with his dad in Edgar each year. Survivors include his mother, Helen Mientke, Wausau, his close friend, Jan Baesemann, Wausau and cousins, friends and his extended family. Private family services will be held.
