Gary K. Grosskreutz 54, town of Wien, died Monday, October 11, 2004, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services at Wausau Hospital. He was born September 10, 1950, in Edgar, son of the late Kenneth and Alice (Hein) Grosskreutz. Gary was veteran of US Army serving during the Vietnam War. He lived in the Chicago area for 23 years and in 1994, he moved to Edgar. Gary had a hobby farm in the town of Wien and was working at Menzner Lumber & Supply Company, Marathon. Besides making furniture, clocks and body work on cars, he enjoyed fishing, canoeing and being outdoors. Survivors includes four sisters, Barbara (Gary) Morrill, Elk Grove Village, Ill, Linda Grosskreutz, Schofield, Gloria (Don) Krahl, Glendale Heights, Ill, Bonnie (Dave Brown) Grosskreutz, Humboldt, Tenn.; two brothers, Dan (Karen Rainville) Grosskreutz and Burt (Kathy) Grosskreutz all of Wausau and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 16, 2004 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar. Rev. Norman Boneck will officiate. Burial will be in the Edgar Cemetery where military graveside services will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #8733, Mosinee.
