Gail A. Ortiz

Gail A. Ortiz 50, Wausau, died Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, Milwaukee. She was born May 28, 1957 in Haverhill, Mass., daughter of Kenneth and Joyce (Stinson) Wood of Rochester, N.H. On June 17, 1978, she married James M. Ortiz in Groveland, Mass. He survives. Gail graduated from Pentucket Regional High School, West Newbury, Mass. She worked in the pharmacy department at Shopko, Wausau. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, James Ortiz, Wausau; three children, James Ortiz Jr., Montgomery, Ala., Sara Crush, Buffalo, Tex. and Andrew Ortiz, Schofield; three grandchildren, Casey and Connor Crush and Dakota Ortiz; her parents, Kenneth and Joyce Wood, Rochester, N.H.; two sisters, Donna (Terrance) Haack, Spencer and Jane (Scott) Russell, Farmington, N.H.; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Rev. Matthew Hein will officiate.
