Fritz D. Langenhahn

Fritz D. Langenhahn 72, a former Marathon resident, of Sunnyvale, Calif., died February 14, 2003 in California. He was born January 25, 1931 in Marathon, son of the late Frederick "Fritz" and Margaret (Schilling) Langenhahn. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, joining in 1948 and retiring 22 years later as a flight engineer. In 1970 he began his own small contracting business in Sunnyvale, Calif., where he built a loyal Bay Area clientele. Survivors include his sons, Rolf Langenhahn, Sunnyvale, Calif.; Eric (Deborah) Langenhahn, New Braunfels, Tex., and their two children; Kurt Langenhahn, Sherman Oaks, Calif., and granddaughter, Jessica Langenhahn, Palmdale, Calif., a brother, Howard Langenhahn, Seaside, Calif. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday August 2, 2003 at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Marathon. Rev. Joseph Diermeier will officiate. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon, is in charge of local arrangements.
