Frank Paul Nezda
Our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend left us Oct. 19, 2005, at the age of 94, to join his family, including son-in-law, Ronald A. Clark. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ida. He transitioned into his new life at his home in Carrollton, Texas, with his family present in order to say their good-byes.
He was born Aug. 3, 1911, in Chicago, son of the late Frank H. and Catherine Waksmonski. He married Ida Lederman in Wausau. Prior to his retirement, Frank had worked at L.H. Hall and then had been employed for 37 years at the former Murray Machine in Wausau. An avid deer hunter and fisherman, he also enjoyed going for long walks, traveling and visiting with family. Our beloved grandpa was a true role model for each of us, and instilled in us a true work ethic and a love for the beauty of nature.
Frank resided in Wausau until September 2003, and then moved to Carrollton, Texas, to live with his son, Robert, and share time with his loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Ida; his children, including his sons, Robert, Carrollton, Texas, and David (Leslie), Grapevine, Texas; daughters, Barbara Clark, Carrollton, Texas, and Gini (Gary) Seeley, Denton, Texas. He is further survived by the his grandchildren, John Nezda, Marc Nylen and wife, Amy, Brent Nylen and wife, Raquel, Stacie Nezda, Amy Adwalpalker, Luke Nezda, Justin Nezda, and Libby Nezda. Great-grandchildren, including the following, Brandon Nylon, David Nylon, Xavier Nylen, Daniel Nylen, Olivia Nylen, Natasha Nylen and Harrison Adwalpalker.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and five sisters.
A memorial service to honor the life to our great husband, father and great-grandfather will be held in spring 2006 in Wausau. All family members will be notified in advance, and we welcome friends to please attend the service as well. Further information will be made available in the Wausau Daily Herald and on the funeral home Web site at: http://www.petersonkraemer.com.
To Remember
To remember our dear father, we only need to look to the running deer, the swimming fish, or the bird in flight.
To remember our dear grandfather, we only need to recall his huge smile and his warm handshake.
We will always remember the man who gave to each of us so generously, his time, his talent, his energy and most importantly, his love.
We will miss you forever, but know that you are in a better place, collecting coins with the Almighty Father, and smiling down upon us with the flight of each cardinal, the spring of each deer, the roar of each bear, and the beauty of each sunrise and sunset. We will never forget you, Grandpa, you will be with always. We will recall your greatness each time we lay our heads down to rest and miss your friendly smile, wonderful sense of humor, and passion to live each day to the fullest. May God be with you, and with all of us as we grieve your passing.
