Frank J. Duskey
93, formerly of Edwards Street, Wausau, died Weds. February 15, 2006 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Schofield.
He was born March 1, 1912, in Wausau, son of the late John and mary (Martsinski) Duskey. He married Adeline (Severson) Knippel in June 1954. She preceded him in death December 1, 1996.
Frank was employed at Crestline for many years and retired from Connor Forest Industries in 1978. In his younger years, he was an avid hunter and was also known as one of Wausau's better softball pitchers in his day.
Survivors include two step-children, Joan Lemma, Green Bay, Bernie "Butch" (Gerri) Knippel, Weston, eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Private funeral services will be Friday February 17, 2006 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Joseph Gyim-Austin will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau.
