Frank A. Walters

Frank A. Walters 93, a former Edgar resident, died Monday April 12, 2004 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston. He was born September 11, 1910 in Stratford, son of the late Andrew and Theresa (Huss) Walters. On June 22, 1939 he married Mildred Borchardt in Edgar. She survives. Frank had been employed as a milk hauler and was a farmer. He also worked at Wausau Homes. He enjoyed his family and friends, playing cards, listening to music and reading. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Walters, Wausau, five sons, Frank (Judy) Walters, Doug (Mary) Walters, Gary (Betty) Walters, all of Wausau, Greg Walters, Mayville, Ron Walters, Plover, 12 grandchildren, Rick (Chris) Walters, Randy (Julia) Walters, Steve Walters, Brad (Jane) Walters, Lisa (Rob) Swan, Keith (Tammy) Walters, Rob (Amy) Walters, Renee (Bill) Meyer, Tanya (Chris) Mikula, Craig (Lynn) Walters, Jeff Walters, Jessica Walters and 16 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Marie Scheibe, Josephine Scherr, Helen Bohman and Julia Walters. Funeral services will be Noon Weds. April 14, 2004 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, County Hwy. N, town of Wein. Rev. Jeff Tarras will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Weds. from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
