Frances Pfaff

Frances Pfaff, 95, 1010 E. Wausau Avenue, Wausau, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Wausau. She was born August 17, 1908 in Ellsworth, daughter of the late John and Emma (Rudolph) Bonney. On June 1, 1940 she married William J. Pfaff in Ellsworth. He preceded her in death on January 23, 1989. Frances graduated from the River Falls Normal School. She taught school at John Marshall Elementary School, Wausau, St. Mary and St. Anne Catholic Schools, Wausau. Frances was involved with the Girl Scouts for many years and the Marathon County Commission on Aging. Survivors include two daughters, Bonney (Albert) Flora, Hayward, Caryl Pfaff, Stone Lake; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Flora, Hayward; two sisters, Margaret Bonney, Ellsworth, Elizabeth Bonney, Wausau; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William J. Pfaff and one brother, Millard Bonney. The funeral mass will be celebrated 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2004 at Church of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, Wausau. Rev. Stephen Gross will preside. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call Friday from 12:00 p.m. until time of services at the church.
