Florian G. Stencil

Florian G. Stencil 94, formerly of Edgar, died Sunday, September 9, 2007 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. He was born October 3, 1912 in the town of Rietbrock, son of the late August and Rose (Wentland) Stencil. Florian was a dairy farmer in the Edgar area all his life and he also worked at the former Edgar Whey Drying Plant. Florian had a great love for his land and also enjoyed the company of his many animals. Survivors include many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents Florian was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar is in charge of arrangements. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Cady Assisted Living and Mount View Care Center for the wonderful care given to Florian.
