Florence Schoenfeld

Florence Schoenfeld 99, 1100 Lake View Drive, Wausau, died Thursday July 22, 2004 at North Central Health Care Facilities, under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services. She was born July 3, 1905 in Tomahawk, daughter of the late Alex and Mary (Cormier) Comeau. She married Delyle Holzschuh. He preceded her in death. She married Marvin Schoenfeld. He preceded her in death. For many years Florence had been employed as a realtor in Wausau. She was the past president of the Wisconsin Womens Bowling Association and was a steadfast Packer and Brewers fan. She was blessed with a strong will and a quiet inner strength that allowed her to live independently through the age of 97. Survivors include two sons, William (Diane) Holzschuh, Kenosha, Charles (Maggie) Schoenfeld, Wausau, a daughter, Lois Jean Davis, San Antonio, a brother, Gordon Comeau, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Weds. July 28, 2004 at Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. There will be no visitation. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
