Florence S. Rapp

Florence S. Rapp 91, Wausau, died Sunday, January 7, 2007 at her home. She was born August 14, 1915 in Wisconsin, daughter of the late Frederick and Anna (Thums) Rapp. Florence was a custodian at Franklin Elementary School in Wausau for many years, until her retirement. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America. Survivors include two sisters, Betty Sheldon, Wausau and Ruthann Wunsch, Galesville; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Metzke and Valeria Rapp; and one nephew, James Wunsch. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2007 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
