Florence Martha Meysembourg

Florence M. Meysembourg, 85, Wausau, died Monday, August 12, 2002 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau, under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services. Florence was born May 21, 1917 in Polonia, daughter of the late Alois and Mary (Burant) Mullen. Florence was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing and ceramics. She also was an excellent cook and loved playing bingo. She is survived by four daughters; Betty (Lee Schultz) Kolokowski, Mosinee, Carol Hettinga, Schofield, Charlotte (John) Fust, Wausau, Laurie (Wayne) Waldhart, Wausau; 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ann Andryczak, Wausau; one brother, Frank Mullen, Rothschild. Besides her parents she is preceded by three husbands; Steve Kolokowski, Norbert Merklein and Louis Meysembourg; one son, James Merklein, one daughter, Judy Merklein; one son-in-law, David Hettinga; seven brothers and two sisters. Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, August 16, 2002 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Friends may call Friday from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Sixth Street funeral home.
