Florence L. Foster

Florence L. Foster 89, 120 S. 7th Ave., Wausau, died Friday, February 15, 2002 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. She was born May 14, 1912 in Whiting, Indiana, daughter of the late Thure and Martha (Johnson) Weden. On March 12, 1932, she married Elmer J. Foster in Pine River. He survives. Florence was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling but she took great pride in taking care of her family. Survivors besides her husband, Elmer, Wausau include 2 daughters, Joan Young, Inver Grove Heights, Minn. and Norma (Marvin) Seehafer, Schofield; 4 sons, Wayne (Judy) Foster, Greendale, Carl (Judy) Foster, Wausau, Harlan (Rosie) Foster and Dale Foster all of Schofield; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandsons; 3 sisters-in-law, Marjorie Foster, Texas, Ruth Weden, Wausau and Florence Weden, Aniwa. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 grandson, Jonathan Foster; 1 son-in-law, Jack Young; 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Funeral services will be Noon Monday, February 18, 2002 at Grace United Church of Christ, Wausau. Rev. James Laak will officiate. Entombment will be in Garden of Eternal Rest Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th St., Wausau. and again from 11:00 a.m. Monday until the time of services at the church.
