Felix Slagowski The Lord came to Felix and received him into his care to be in no more pain, and in no more suffering. Felix is in heaven in the arms of Jesus. Felix is running around in heaven on the streets of gold, living in His mansion. He is in a far better place. Jesus came to Felix early Sunday morning September 29, 2002, took his hand and comforted him. He passed away at Mount View Care Center. He was very lovable and loved everyone, especially his family and caregivers. Felix was born May 5, 1923 in Polonia, son of the late Leo and Josephine (Stoltz) Slagowski. He attended Madison and Sacred Heart School. As a young man, he worked as a farm hand. Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Mary Slagowski, Rosholt and Emma Slagowski, Schofield, his niece, Bette Ann (Irving) Fletcher, Schofield and nephew, Thomas (Mary) Slagowski, Wausau along with numerous other nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday October 2, 2002 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. Robert Thorne will officiate. Burial will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Rosholt. Friends may call on Wedsnesday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Ave., Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
