Fabian A. Furmanek

Fabian A. Furmanek 80, Wausau, died Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at North Central Health Care, Wausau. He was born January 17, 1928 in Bevent, son of the late Joseph and Rose (Rekoske) Furmanek. For many years, he was employed as a welder for the former JI Case, Wausau, until his retirement. Survivors include, three children, Martina (Thomas) Fischer, Custer, Marten (Lisa) Furmanek, Madisonville, Tenn., and Marvin (Vicki) Furmanek, Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren; and one sister, Anna Krueger, Schofield. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers. Private family services will be held. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
