Ewald A. Lehrmann

Ewald A. Lehrmann 86, 5109 Packer Drive, Wausau formerly of Edgar, walked into the gate of Heaven on Thursday, October 16, 2003 under the care of Comfort Care & Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. He was born July 5, 1917 in the town of Rib Falls, son of the late August and Anna (Retzlaff) Lehrmann. In 1958, he married Leona Becker. She survives. Ewald was a dairy farmer in the town of Rib Falls until 1963. He then worked at Fromm Brothers Inc., Hamburg until the time of his retirement. Ewald enjoyed polka music, auto racing, watching the Packers and loved animals. Besides his wife, Leona, survivors include two sons, Dale Lehrmann, Wausau and his children, Jennifer, Christopher and Kimberlie, Karl Lehrmann, Wausau; three daughters, Dawn (Ed) Wodalski, Rothschild and their children, Nicole and Michael, Karen Lehrmann, Wausau, Lynette (Randy) Lehman, Wausau and their son, Benjamin; two step-daughters, Helen (Phil) Bickley, Wausau, Anna (Robert) Anderson, Brattleboro, Vermont and their children, Carl (April) Anderson, Michael and Lori Anderson; one great granddaughter, Alexis Anderson; two nieces, Gertie (Donald) Wyro, Schofield and Carolyn (Larry) Kolton, Mosinee. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by step-son, James Conant; two sisters, Anita Brandt and Louise Lehrmann; one brother, Ralph Lehrmann. Funeral services will be at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Rib Mountain. Rev. John Roseth will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. Sunday until the time of services at the church.
