Evelyn V. Wilde

Evelyn Verna Wilde, 99, died Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Willow Haven, Mosinee. She was born October 4, 1917 in Hamburg, daughter of the late John and Helena (Krueger) Borchardt. On February 26, 1938 she married Leonard Wilde at St. John Lutheran Church, Hamburg. He preceded her in death on December 12, 1982. Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and the residents and staff at Willow Haven. Survivors include her daughter, Barb (Harley) Stieber, Puryear, TN, grandsons, Bruce (Julie) Stieber, Wausau and Brad (Ronda) Stieber, Wausau; granddaughter, Cindy (Bill) Shaw, West Valley City, UT; and five great-grandchildren, Krystina, Alexzandra, Michael, Alex and Nikolas. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2016 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Stewart Avenue funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff at Willow Haven in Mosinee and Interim Home Health Care of Wausau for providing excellent healthcare and hospice services for Evelyn.
