Evelyn L. Mullins 86, Athens died Friday, February 8, 2008 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. She was born July 26, 1921 in the town Hamburg, daughter of the late Leslie and Minnie (Hanke) Henrichs. She attended school in Hamburg and on October 12, 1946 she was united in marriage to Joe Mullins in Green Bay. Together they worked at a cheese factory in Brussels and then later owned and operated Patron's Pride cheese factory in Athens for more than 42 years. Some of Evelyn's favorite pastimes included cooking, baking, word search puzzles, reading cookbooks and going to their cottage on Crescent Lake. Evelyn is survived by her sons, Randy "Bo" Mullins, Athens, Duane "Dean" (Wilma) Mullins, Rhinelander, her grandchildren Keith (Tiffany) Weiler, Athens, Kim (Chad) Ebben, Merrill, Andrea (Kory Mader) Weiler, Athens and Joe Mullins, Rhinelander, her great grandchildren, Colten, Kiera and Logan. Evelyn is further survived by her son-in-law, Dave Weiler, Athens, her brothers, Haron (Alvira) Henrichs, and Laverne (Joyce) Henrichs, both of Athens, her sisters Arlene (James) Voigt, Merrill and Mavis (Eldred) Nehrbass, Athens, her sisters-in-law, Delores Henrichs, Athens and Bernice Mullins, Marshfield, her brother-in-law, Charlie (Marie) Mullins, Stratford along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe on October 31, 1990, her daughter Barb Weiler and her brothers Wallace, Emery and Elton Henrichs. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Athens. The Rev. Charles Hiebl will preside. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Athens. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens and again on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the Athens funeral home. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Evelyn's name.
