Evelyn "Evie" Mischock
69, Wausau, passed away with her loving husband by her side on Sunday, June 26, 2005 at her home under the care of Comfort Care & Hospice Services.
She was born January 3, 1936 in Wausau, daughter of the late Anton and Gertrude (Koback) Engman. On August 1, 1953, she married LeRoy Mischock in Pine City, Minn. He survives.
Evie worked for the National Mutual Benefits, Palms Supper Club, Iozzo's and Raybern Lighting. Besides enjoying her vegetable and flower gardens, doing crafts, visiting up North and the outdoors, Evie was an avid Green Bay Packer and NASCAR fan. She was a devoted grandmother.
Besides her husband, LeRoy Mischock, Wausau, survivors include one son, Mark Mischock, Wausau; two grandsons, Tim & Thomas Mischock; one granddaughter, Tammy (Quentin) Thompson; three great grandchildren, Kassandra, Briar & Chenoa Thompson; two sisters, Elaine Butt, Athens & Phyllis (Lloyd) Burgoyne, Wausau; two brothers, Roger (Linda) Engman, San Mateo, Fla. & Scott Engman, Milwaukee.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Michael Mischock; one sister, Angeline Engman; three brothers, Donald, Leroy & Tony Jr. Engman.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2005 at Zion Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Joel Schmalz will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of services at the church.
