Evelyn A. Karpinski

Evelyn A. Karpinski, 79, Wausau, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Wausau, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services. She was born May 17, 1930 in Bevent, daughter of the late Barney and Selma (Stankowski) Woytasik. She worked for the former Wausau Insurance Company until her retirement. Survivors include, three children, Andrew Karpinski, Adrienne Karpinski and Jeffrey Karpinski, all of Wausau; one sister, Bernice (Walter) Malinowski, Mosinee; and other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Leonard Woytasik. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2010 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Greg Michaud will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Friday from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
