Evelyn F. Hubbard

Evelyn F. Hubbard 89, a former Rib Mountain resident, died Saturday August 31, 2002 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. She was born October 19, 1912 in Eau Claire, daughter of the late Michael and Augusta (Steinger) Holleran. On August 3, 1940 she married William 'Bill' Hubbard at St. Mary Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death January 8, 1996. Evelyn was first and foremost a homemaker. Time spent with family, especially her grandchildren was special to her. She had also been employed at Ethan Allen, Wilson Hurd and Marathon Tackle. She enjoyed going up north to the cottage on Lake Tomahawk and fishing. Survivors include a son, Clark (Eileen) Hubbard, Ringle, a granddaughter, Blair, a grandson, Kent, two sisters, Mabel Marvin and Geraldine Mueller, both of Wausau. Besides her husband, Bill, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Huntington and Lucille Kutil and one brother, Lawrence Holleran. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. Weds. September 4, 2002 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Weds. from 3:30 p.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
