Evelyn M. Gliniecki

Evelyn M. Gliniecki 79, Weston, died Tuesday September 20, 2011 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born July 12, 1932 in Wilson, Mich., daughter of the late William and Mae (Wilson) Klee. On May 5, 1956, she married Chester Gliniecki in Michigan. He preceded her in death November 9, 2008. Prior to her retirement, Evelyn had been employed as a CNA at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston. She enjoyed collecting bells, lighthouses and music boxes. Among her favorite things to do were cooking, baking and flower gardening. Evelyn was a Packers fan and also enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino. Survivors include her children, Mike (Donna) Gliniecki, Mosinee, Randolph (Bonnie) Gliniecki, Irma, Ronald Gliniecki, Mosinee, Deborah (Guy) Bemowski, Schofield, Lori Gliniecki, Schofield, seven grandchildren, Daniel, Timothy & Jessica Gliniecki; Tyler Gliniecki; Joshua, Angela & Jacob Bemowski, one sister, June (Roger) Piche, Powers, Mich., two sisters-in-law, Sharon Klee and Lenore Klee both of Wilson, Mich. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James, George and Emil Klee and one sister, Jean Klee. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 24, 2011 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. Rev. Norman Boneck will preside. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter. Friends may call on Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
