Evelyn V. Dallman, 81, 871 Spring Road, Marathon, died Thursday, October 17, 2002 at her home.
Evelyn was born May 9, 1921 in Rosholt, daughter of the late Casimir and Veronica (Chilla) Wroblewski. She married Harold Theodore Dallman on February 15, 1941 in Stevens Point. He preceded her in death December 14, 1995.
Evelyn was a homemaker who also farmed with her husband Harold for many years in the town of Reid. She moved to Marathon in January of 1959. Her family will always remember her for her ability to bake and beautifully decorate cakes. Saying prayers like the Rosary, sewing and gardening were among her favorite things to do. She deeply loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Evelyn had a great fondness for farm animals, especially the cows.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary (Douglas) Barker, Marathon, Donna (Marion) Dombeck, Eland, Arlene (Donald) Fochs, Oak Creek; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; one sister, Helen Woyak, Milwaukee; one brother, Frank Wroblewski, Eland; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Besides her husband Harold, and her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Peter Wroblewski and Raymond Wroblewski; four sisters, Dorothy Dallman, Esther Dallman, Josephine Kontney and Regina Rogalla.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. The Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of the arrangements.
