Evalyn A. Fisk
95, Wausau, died Thursday, August 16, 2007, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at North Central Health Care Center, Wausau.
She was born March 9, 1912 in Swan Creek, Ill., daughter of the late Orlo and Lena (Grim) McQueen. On September 10, 1933, she married Norman Fisk in Evanston, Ill. He survives.
Evalyn was a long time member of Medina Baptist Church, Medina, Ill. and most recently, she was a member of Living Water Christian Fellowship, Wausau. Among her many interests, she enjoyed playing cards and board games.
Survivors include, her husband, Norman Fisk, Wausau; two sons, Norman (Janice) Fisk, Wausau and James (Barbara) Fisk, Roselle, Ill.; six grandchildren, Sharon (Ryan) Marinier, Kimberly Fisk, Scott (Cat) Fisk, Cristine Fisk, Mark (Kay) Bieber and Cathy (Dan) Stubbe; 11 great grandchildren; and one brother, Merland (Arlene) McQueen, Parma Heights, Ohio.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Richard Fisk; one grandson, Keith Fisk; and two brothers, Larry and John McQueen.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday August 25, 2007 at Living Water Christian Fellowship Church, 215 E. Thomas Street, Wausau. Rev. Norman Fisk will officiate. Friends may call on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at the church. The family will greet friends following the service in the church hall.
