Eva B. Tucker

Eva B. Tucker 87, Wausau, died Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born April 3, 1918 in Evansville, daughter of the late Fred and Margaret (Hopkins) Dennison. On October 9, 1940, she married William Tucker in Madison. He preceded her in death. Eva was a homemaker. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, Madison, Badgers Roleiters Campers Club and past president of the Senior Citizens Club both of Lake Camelot. Among her favorite things to do were bowling, cooking, watching birds and deer. She was very active in all social events at Mount View Health Care Center, Wausau. Survivors include two daughters, Ila (Dan) Halfmann, Wausau and Billie Jean Weisensel, Madison; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Shimmins, Fort Atkinson. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters and seven brothers. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2005 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will officiate. Burial will be in Springbranch Cemetery, town of Rome. Friends may call Monday from Noon until time of services at the Sixth Street Funeral Home. Online condolences at www.petersonkraemer.com
