Eunice C. Casagram, 77, Wausau, died Monday, June 6, 2016 at Artisan Senior Living under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
She was born October 3, 1938 in Quincy, Ill., daughter of the late Charles and Geneva (Hickman) Casagram.
After graduating from high school, Eunice joined the Sisters of Divine Providence and attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa. where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She worked as a teacher in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and later in Wisconsin.
Eunice was a talented pianist and violinist. She will be remembered as a caring, warm and loving individual who handled the difficult times in her life with grace and dignity. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her, especially her brothers and sister and many nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her brothers Larry Casagram, Aurora, Ill., Fr. Michael W. Casagram, Our Lady of Gethsemani Trappist Community, New Haven, Ky. and her sister, Mary Comianos, San Jose, Cal.
Preceding Eunice in death were her parents; and her brother, Charles Dean Casagram.
The family would like to thank all the dedicated caretakers who were so comforting to Eunice.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
