Eugene "Jack" Sudut, 71, Wausau, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born May 4, 1938 in Wausau, son of the late Joseph Sr. and Regina (Cyganek) Sudut.
He was a United States Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
Jack was retired but in the process of establishing a trailer manufacturing business. His hobby was building things.
Survivors include his former wife, DeAnn Lynn Calloway, Wausau, three stepsons, Vincent (Pearl) Goetsch, Tenn., Jeffery Goetsch, Ark., Jay (Janet) Goetsch, Ill., two brothers, James (Pauline) Sudut, Eugene, Ore., Terry (Theresa) Sudut, Anchorage, AK, four sisters, "Lady" Diana Heath, Bristol, Tenn., Patti (Jerry) Bloedel, Mosinee, Judy (Mike) Martin, Schofield, Charlene (Mike) Gutowski, Norrie and many nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, 2nd Lt. Jerome Sudut, Joseph Sudut and William Sudut.
A Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
