Eugene V. Pankonien

Eugene V. Pankonien 84, Wausau, died Friday, December 28, 2007 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Eugene was a veteran of the United States Airforce. He worked as a mechanic for the Wausau Bus Lines until retirement. Survivors include, two daughters, Maureen (Joe) Schreier, Wausau and Alice (Joe) Shank, Illinois; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alvin Pankonien, California and Harvey (Audrey) Pankonien, Arkansas; and two sisters, Bernice Schlei, Wausau and Gloria (Delwon) Cannon, California. Private family services will be held at a later date. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
