Ethel M. Anderson

Ethel M. Anderson 95, Marathon, formerly of Viking, Minn., died December 22, 2007 at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau. She was born November 10, 1912 in Warren, Minn., daughter of the late Emil and Marie (Olson) Wallsten. Ethel and her late husband, Richard, farmed and she also worked for Land O Lakes until her retirement at age 70. She moved to Wisconsin in 1999. Survivors include her son Ken Anderson, Marathon; grandsons, Richard Anderson, Schofield and Matt Anderson, Baraboo and daughter-in-law, Cindy Anderson, Schofield. Besides her parents and husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Joan, son, John, brother, Lester and sister Myrtle. A memorial service will be held in Viking, Minn. at a later date. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
