Ervin Tritten

Ervin Tritten 89, Wausau, died Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born September 18, 1919 in Wausau, son of the late Fredrick and Anna (Kunze) Tritten. On August 20, 1966 he married Ronetta (Kunde) Schepp in Wausau. She preceded him in death on July 15, 1989. Ervin worked at Marmet for over 30 years and also bartended in Nutterville. Hunting, fishing, camping and gardening were some of his favorite things. He also enjoyed fixing things and creating a holiday display box in front of his home. Survivors include his brother, Vernon (Jeannie) Tritten, Wausau; stepdaughter, Shirley (James) Hoeppner, Wausau; stepsons, Ervin (Mary) Schepp and Dennis Schepp, both of Wausau; eight step-grandchildren, nine step- great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Besides his parents and wife, Ronetta, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Tritten and a sister-in-law, Anna Tritten. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2009 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau. The Rev. Gary Froseth will officiate. Burial will be in Mechanics Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services all at the 6th Street funeral home. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Mount View Care Center, Aspirus Wausau Hospital doctors, nurses and chaplain for their exceptional care and compassion.
