Erma H. Myszka

Erma H. Myszka, 85, formerly of Deerview Meadows, Medford, died Sat. Dec. 14, 2002 at the Medford Nursing Center. ... Erma was born September 14, 1917 in Milan, daughter of the late James and Ida (Leonard) Soucek. She married Joseph Myszka on June 30, 1936 in Wuertzburg. He preceded her in death on October 20, 1992. Erma was a homemaker and was a past financial secretary of the National Catholic Society of Foresters. She was an avid sewer for church projects, family and friends. Survivors include seven daughters, Priscilla Stenzel, Athens, Patricia (Dennis) Mroczenski, Edgar, Janice Barr, Milwaukee, Joleen (Marvin) Dassow, Rib Lake, Sharon (Ronald) Dassow, Medford, Debra (George) Dassow, Medford, Monelle (Larry) Johnson, Medford; five sons, Norbert (Jane) Myszka, Edgar, Du Wayne (Mary) Myszka, Athens, Benedict (Carmen) Myszka, Edgar, Donald (Bonnie) Myszka, Athens, Dale (friend, Melinda) Myszka;41 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; two sisters, Mildred Schultz, Wausau, Joyce Cichon, Waukesha. Besides her husband, Joseph and her parents she was preceded by two infant children, two sisters, three grandchilden and one son-in-law. The funeral mass will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. The Rev. Charles Hiebl and Deacon LeRoy Knauf will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Monday, from 4-8 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar and again on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish vigil service at 6:30 p.m. Monday evening at the Edgar Funeral Home. Pallbearers for the services will be Larry Mroczenski, Keith Myszka, Bruce Myszka, Todd Myszka, Tyler Dassow, Rollan Johnson.
