Erhardt J. Kafka

Erhardt J. Kafka, 79, Edgar, died Wednesday, February 5, 2003, at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. Erhardt was born December 1, 1923 in the town of Cleveland, son of the late Frank and Anna (Ottelein) Kafka Jr. Erhardt farmed in the town of Cleveland and was a cabinetmaker for Roddis Lumber & Veneer. Survivors include two brothers, Clarence Kafka, Stratford, Arthur (Margie) Kafka, Merrill; nieces and nephews. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m., Saturday, February 8, 2003, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Stratford. The Rev. Thomas Rudolph will preside. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Town of Eau Pleine. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a Rosary service Friday at 4:30 p.m. at the Edgar Funeral Home.
