Emma (Totzke) Brown, 95, formerly of the town of Frankfort, passed away Sunday, March 16th, 2003 at Colonial House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Colby.
She was born February 18, 1908, in the town
of Frankfort, daughter of the late Ferdinand and Emma (Hoernke)Totzke. She married Walter H. Brown on October 29th, 1932 at St. John Lutheran Church town of Wien. He preceded her in death June 16th 1984.
She was baptized and confirmed in St. John's M.S. Lutheran Church in the town of Wien. She belonged to the church her entire life and was a member of the Ladies' Aid-LWML
Survivors include one son, Ronald (Janice) Brown , Edgar; one daughter, Miriam (Albert) Wolff, Edgar; eight grandchildren; Douglas,
Larry, Bruce, and Stacey Brown, Beverly (Brown) Schwantes, Rhonda and Perry Wolff, and Mary Hovde; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Albert Totzke, Edgar; three sisters Elsie Raddatz, Wolga Tigert, both of Oshkosh, and Aurella Gambill, Wausau; along with many nephews and nieces.
Besides her husband Walter, and her parents Emma was preceded in death by her sister Hertha Lau, and brothers Carl, Herman, and Fred Totzke.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at St. John Lutheran Church, High Steeple, town of Wien. Rev. Roger Moldenhauer will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday until the time services all at the church.
The family would like to take this opportunity to extend scincere thanks to her family at Colonial Home in Colby, where Emma was a resident the last three years.
She will be greatly missed by all.
