Emily D. Stencil

Emily D. Stencil 81, R5436 County Road H, Edgar, died Sunday October 27, 2002 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital as the result of a traffic accident. She was born January 4, 1921 in Bevent, daughter of the late William and Johanna (Lewandowski)Dallman. On February 4, 1940 she married Joe Stencil at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. He survives. Emily had been employed at Marathon Cheese, she was a homemaker and had been co-owner of Stencil Excavating. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Edgar and their Parish Council of Catholic Women. She will be remembered for her wonderful cooking and baking and her love of polka music. Special to Emily, was the time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Joe, a son, Arlyn (Bev) Stencil, Edgar, a son-in-law, Eugene Scheiderer, Edgar, eight grandchildren, Cara (Fred) Baeseman, Mark (Margo) Scheiderer, Brenda Stencil, Ken (Kelly) Scheiderer, Jodi Olson, Rhonda Stencil, David Stencil and Kristin Scheiderer, five great grandchildren, Cody, Ashley, Trevor, Jonathon and Kyla, a sister, Regina (Lawrence) Babl, Schofield, two brothers, Charles (Verjean) Dallman, Minoqua and Bernard (Lorraine) Dallman, Hatley. Besides his parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Roxanne Scheiderer, a son, Daryl Stencil, four brothers, Carl, Florian, Edward and Bill E. Dallman and three sisters, Helen, Emma and Mayme. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 30, 2002 at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. Rev. Bernard Raschke will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar and again on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish vigil service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Edgar funeral home.
