Emily M. Nelson

Emily M. Nelson 73, 205 Maple Street, Wausau, died Monday, August 15, 2005 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born September 12, 1931 in Merrill, daughter of the late Harry and Adelia (Schield) Raasch. Emily was a waitress and hostess at Perkins in Wausau for over 25 years. Always staying active, she never turned down an invitation to spend a night on the town with her many friends. Emily will leave behind many dear friends and co-workers, especially all those who came to know her at Perkins. Survivors include her two sisters, Harriet (Raymond) Heller and Rosiland (Jack) Hofele, both of Merrill, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides her parents Emily was preceded in death by her two children, Susan Lynn Moore and Melody Moore and one sister Cora Raasch. Private family services will be held at a later date.
