Emeline (Lexon) Sutcliffe

Emeline (Lexon) Sutcliffe 92, Chetek, died Monday March 31, 2003 in Chetek, Wisconsin. She was born September 30, 1910 in Red Ridge, Michigan, daughter of the late Peter and Hilda (Aho) Lexon. Emeline was a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ellen (Morris) Phillips, Hatley, Doris (Donald) Freeman, Elmhurst, Ill., two sons, Charles W. Sutcliffe Jr. and Lee P. Sutcliffe, both of Illinois, 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Sutcliffe Sr., one son, Owen R. Sutcliffe; one daughter, Adele McCormick; six brothers; five sisters. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Hancock, Michigan. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
