Elsie E. Urmanski

Elsie E. Urmanski, 70, 3407 Blue Jay Lane, Wausau, died Friday August 1, 2003, under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. She was born June 28, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pa., daughter of the late James J. and Elsie (Miller) Plover. On May 22, 1954 she married Joseph Urmanski at Holy Family Catholic Church in Philadelphia. He preceded her in death on September 21, 2002. Survivors include one daughter, Debra Ann Rodda, Wausau; two grandchildren, Joseph and Heather Barttelt, both of Wausau; one sister, Margaret Plover; and two brothers, James and Robert Plover all of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Ronald, and a daughter Cynthia. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2003, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. The Rev. Frederick Njoroge Kairu will preside. Entombment will be in the Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau, and again Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish vigil service 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Stewart Avenue Funeral Home.
