Elsie A. Lepak 5404 Springbrook Drive, Wausau died Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau. She was born September 9, 1915 in Marathon, daughter of the late Alois and Elizabeth (Bumann) Blume. On May 14, 1940 she married Alois Lepak at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. He preceded her in death on May 3, 1998. Elsie was a homemaker and enjoyed simple things in life like going for long walks, tending to her gardens and spending quality time with her family. Survivors include her son, Alois (Susan) Lepak, Wausau, her grandchildren, Scott (Kathy) Lepak, Andover, Minnesota and Laura Lepak, Wausau, two great grandchildren, Jordan and Kate Anderson and three sisters-in-law, Gelanta Seliger, Wausau, Lorraine Lang, Mendota, Illinois and Phyllis Blume, Marathon. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four brothers Edward, Arnold, Alphonse and Norbert Blume and two sisters, Edna and Mary Blume. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. The Rev. Joseph Diermeier will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Mary Catholic Church.
