Elsie Gorman

Elsie Hoyer Gorman, age 96, passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, January 15, 2002 at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Wausau. She was born on October 20, 1905 in Rice Lake, WI, the daughter of Chris and Rachel Hoyer and was married to Lyle Gorman in 1928. Elsie loved socializing with friends, attending church functions and visiting with her grandchildren. Her friends and family always enjoyed her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. She is survived by her son, Jack (Marcia) Gorman; her six grandchildren, Kathryn (Matthew)Kyler, Linda Gorman, Susan Gorman, Nancy Gorman, Patrick (Laurie) Gorman and Teri (Ryan) Shore; and her six great-grandchildren, Lindsay and Luke Raymond (Linda), Matthew, Nicole and Christina Gorman (Pat) and Saxton Shore (Teri). Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2002 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau.
