Elmer A. Kornack

Elmer A. Kornack 80, Silver Leaf Road, Athens, died Monday August 19, 2002 at Continental Manor Nursing Home, Abbottsford. He was born April 2, 1922 in Athens, son of the late John and Emma (Dins) Kornack. For most of his working career, Elmer had been employed in road construction. Prior to his retirement, he had worked as a grader operator for the town of Johnson. Survivors include two sisters, Myrtle Metz, Stetsonville, Elda Wentdorf, Sturtevant and a sister-in-law, Pauline Kornack, Edgar, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Alfred, Edwin, Emil and Arthur; two sisters, Esther and Arlene. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday August 23, 2002 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Dorchester. Burial will be in the Athens Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
