Elliot L. Stieber
22, Wausau, died Saturday, November 12, 2005 in Wausau.
Elliot was born November 20, 1982 in Anchorage, Alaska, son of Dean Stieber and Mary McCarthy. He married Melody Easker, Neenah. She survives.
Elliot was a very warm hearted, caring person who loved his family more than anything in life. He had an inner beauty that those closest to him truly admired and appreciated. Elliot was gifted in music and had a very creative mind. He had a quirky sense of humor that went hand in hand with his beautiful smile. Along with his appreciation for the beauty of the outdoors, he saw God in all of nature, and had a soft heart for animals and all living things. Besides fishing, camping and spending time up north with his family, he loved family gathering and celebrations. Though his time on earth was short, Elliot will live on in the hearts of those who loved him so much. Our hearts ache to have to say goodbye to him, but we find comfort in knowing that he is home, safe in the arms of his loving Father.
Besides his wife, survivors include his mother, Mary McCarthy, Wausau; father, Dean Stieber; one sister, Taylor Shryne and one brother, Easton Shryne, both of Wausau; maternal grandfather, Thomas McCarthy, Wausau; paternal grandparents, Roger & Agnes Stieber, Tomahawk; paternal great grandmother, Mary Weber, Wausau; many aunts & uncles.
Funeral services will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. Wednesday until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home.
