Ellen M. Fuenger, 83, died Saturday October 17, 2015 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. She was born June 1, 1932, in Wausau, daughter of the late Carl and Edith (Aldred) Steppert. Ellen had been employed at Marathon Electric, retiring after over 45 years of service. In her free time, she enjoyed going on casino trips and shopping. She especially enjoyed the time spent with family and friends. Survivors include two children, Jane (Ronald) Uekert, Wausau and John Fuenger, Wausau, two grandchildren, Brenda Uekert and Ronald (Lisa) Uekert, one great grandson, Brady Uekert, three siblings, Barbara Lutz, Rothschild, Bev (George) Polley, Wausau and Robert (Sandra) Steppert, Tomahawk. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday October 22, 2015 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home.
