Ella L. Miller

Ella L. Miller 83, 1320 Grand Avenue, Wausau, died Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born August 7, 1922 in Stratford, S.D., daughter of the late Norman and Hazel (Roberts) Johnson. On June 27, 1947, she married Louis Miller in Wausau. He preceded her in death on February 20, 1996. Among her many interests, she enjoyed collecting crosses, angels and stuffed animals. Ella was an avid Brewer fan and loved cats. Survivors include, eight daughters, Shirley (David) Derby, Wausau, Jean (Larry) Seidler, Schofield, Barbara (John) Viergutz, Mosinee, Gloria (Ken Hammock) Scheidemann, Alaska, Linda (Anthony) Kraus, Wausau, Lori (Rudy) Suchy, Phillips, Judy (Pete) Paulus, Phillips and Rose (Darryl) Schuh, Kingsford, Mich.; eighteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Cecelia Sue Grubb; two sisters, Angie and Marion; two brothers, Richard and Bill; and one son-in-law, Peter Scheidemann. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 19, 2005 at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Joseph Gyim-Austin will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
