Elizabeth A. Wolf

Elizabeth "Liz" A. Wolf 71, Marshall, formerly of Edgar, died Friday, December 23, 2011 as a result of an automobile accident. She was born April 19, 1940 in Poniatowski, daughter of Cecilia (Sommer) Diers of Poniatowski and the late Anthony "Tony" Diers. Elizabeth worked as a visiting nurse, later worked for WPS Insurance Company in Madison and retired following many years as a realtor. Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed boating, flower gardening, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include, her mother, Cecilia Diers; three children, Sarah (Matthew) Schick, Greenfield, Bradley (Shannon) Wolf, Marshall and Kate (fiance' Jeff Swan) Wolf, Glendale, Ariz.; and their father, Richard Wolf, Arizona; five grandchildren, Gavin and Piper Schick, Colin Wolf and Carter and Olivia Swan; two sisters, Eleanor Wisnewski, Poniatowski and Elmira (Dale) Masanz, Edgar; one sister-in-law, Mary Jo Diers, Athens; and many other relatives and friends. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Diers. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Noon on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. Rev. Robert Streveler will preside. Friends may call Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar is in charge of arrangements.
